• ya desde niño demonstró su talento jugando al fútbol, pero al no haber ningún equipo de fútbol alevín en Rincón de Soto (donde nació), jugó en Navarra con el Funes || since he was a child he was very talented for football, but since there was not any children’s team in Rincón de Soto (where he was born) he started playing in Navarra in a team called Funes
• el 16 de enero de 2005 hizo su debut en un partido contra el Espanyol que empataron (1-1) || on January 16th 2005 made his debut in a match against Espanyol where both teams tied (1-1)
• en junio de 2005 fue convocado para el Mundial Sub-20 de Holanda. La selección española fue eliminada en cuartos de final, pero Llorente marcó 5 goles (uno menos que Messi), lo que le valió la Bota de Plata || in June 2005 he was selected to play the Sub-20 World Cup in Holland.
